Some nations may face challenge implementing new bank rules in time - Basel Committee

    Some countries and jurisdictions have yet to issue drafts of the Basel III banking regulations and could be facing a significant challenge to meet the deadline of January 1, 2013 for implementing the new global rules, the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision said in an interim report to the Group of 20 leaders.
